Updating the AutoStore system can improve the performance and reduce errors in the system. AutoStore regularly releases updates that include bug fixes, improvements, and new functionality for your system. A new batch of updates is typically released every 6 months.
There are three types of updates: Recommended, Important, and Critical.
Recommended and Important updates do not have a required upgrade timeline, however they normally include bug fixes, improvements, and new functionality that can improve the performance of the system.
Critical updates should be completed within 3 weeks from the date they were released if done remotely or 3 months if performed onsite as the changes included typically contain fixes that address critical errors that can cause damage to the system and it's modules.
Bastian Solutions Support will reach out to customers to schedule Critical updates when they become available, and will typically work to schedule other updates at least once a year to keep your system running at its best.
