The AutoStore Customer Console application may show a Disconnected status along with a pop-up showing it is trying to connect to ASDriver. ASDriver runs as an application on the AutoStore Controller PC and is required for operation of the AutoStore System.
There are a few reasons for this message:
- The IP address entered in the ASDriver IP address field is incorrect.
- If connecting from the Service PC, located on the service mezzanine, you can enter 192.168.0.230.
- If connecting from another PC on your network you will need to enter the B-Net IP address of the AutoStore Controller PC which can be retrieved from your IT personnel or Bastian Solutions Support.
- If you have confirmed the ASDriver IP address is correct and you still see the above messages, it may be that ASDriver is not running on the AutoStore Controller PC.
- Using the Service PC use the Remote Desktop Connection application and connect to the AutoStore Controller PC with Computer: 192.168.0.230.
- If you are unsure of the login credentials for the AutoStore Controller PC, refer to your site's documentation or contact Bastian Solutions Support.
- Confirm the ASDriver application is open by checking the taskbar or for an open window.
- If the application is not open launch it from the Desktop, or from the application located at: C:\AutoStore\ASDriver.
- If you are unable to reach the AutoStore Controller PC using the Remote Desktop Connection application it may be that the AutoStore Controller PC is powered off.
- Following a power outage or system maintenance you will need to manually power back on the AutoStore Controller (contains the ASIO, Network Switch, AutoStore Controller PC, and the UPS)
- Locate the UPS at the bottom of the AutoStore Controller and power it on
- Power on the AutoStore Controller PC via the power switch located behind the dust filter panel
